In the book Magic, Color, Flair: The World of Mary Blair by John Canemaker, he writes, "After suffering difficult postwar years (1945-50), the Disney Studio came roaring back with three blockbuster feature-length cartoons destined to become classics. Mary Blair played a significant role in each film as a designer and especially as a Colorist."
